Wow Jerry I am really impressed. Have you had a chance to run it yet? When I worked at Ogner V W we use to start the engines on the floor then rev them and they would jump across the shop floor. I have quiet A bit of interesting news for you about some items I just acquired , When I get some pics of them I will contact you. Also I have a guy here with a 79 vette with a stroker engine in it . 700 HP with nitro . He wants me to put it on the web and sell it . I'll send you some pics of it when it is ready for show and maybe you could suggest some good site we can advertise it. This job is the one I have been looking for every one here including the owner thinks I'm batman because I can handle the small repairs around the park with out calling any subs in. ie. I ask him for a backhoe to do some landscaping and he delivered a $28,000 Brand new Kubota this morning. Having lots of fun here this one is going to last..Again nice job I'll will be in touch in a couple of weeks .. Gil

Hi Jerry that samba site is like the old J C Whitney for Bugs.
Looking at your photos reminds me of cutting off 14" of the bugs frame and making dune buggies out of them (the good old days) you seem to be moving along pretty fast for an old fart.
It looks real good iii check back later
Gil

Seeing the support trucks reminds me of the story Malcolm Smith tells of his first Dakar rally. He said he was travelling at well over 100MPH on a dirt road and heard a rumble behind him. He looked back and saw one of these support trucks getting ready to pass him.

Jerry as usual, you're doing a great job of covering the SEMA show. The trick tools site looks interesting. They have the kind of tools I'd like to get if I had a new garage to stock.
And the ClampTite tool looks like a handy item to carry in your toolbox. Looks like it can be used to make emergency as well as permanent repairs.
I look forward to your daily reports.

Great reporting on the products at the SEMA show can't wait to see what's next. Thanks for the tip on the DaVinci Diamond another 67 later in the evening. Also thanks for the tip on using the tram, sure way to save time during big conventions.
